Kind Words

I came for the limoncello and left with the bay-leaf thing I had never heard of. Slightly too sweet for me on its own but excellent over ice with soda, which is what the man behind the counter told me to do in the first place.

We served the herb liqueur at our restaurant's staff dinner and three people asked where it was from. Ended up ordering a case. Whoever answers the emails there is also unreasonably fast.

Bought the limoncello as a housewarming gift and then immediately bought a second bottle because I was not giving that one away. It tastes like actual lemons, not like sweets. The shop smells incredible too.

Third order this year. The quince is the one I keep coming back to — it is dry where I expected sweet. Packaging arrived intact both times it went to my parents in Hamburg.
